NOTE: This hike goes into the woods and includes steep dirt trails
We are excited to hold our last hike of the year this Sunday, October 29th in beautiful Ben Avon. Join us as we walk past historic homes, through an unexpected greenway, and take in the Ohio River!
Meet us at Anchor & Anvil Coffee Bar where you can fuel up before the hike or warm up after. There is on-street parking on Church Ave. and the nearby side streets. The hike starts at 11:00 a.m., so if you want morning coffee, please arrive with enough time beforehand.
This is a shorter hike for us (about 3.5 miles) but it has lots of hills and some steep, narrow and possibly muddy dirt trails. We are going off the paved sidewalks and into the woods for a section of this hike — it is not for the faint of “ankle”.
Check the weather and dress accordingly, including sturdy shoes. We do not have any indoor stops. Barring extremely cold or wet weather, we will be hiking.
